I'd like a bold and yummy ikat table cloth like this:

To go in our home here:

I'm going to track down some ikat fabric.
Cut it into thirds or even fourths.
Sew the panels together so that it just covers the table.
Give to gma to then make a pleat/ruffle to cover just the thickness of the table.
Hmph.
Doesn't sound very easy and I prob made no sense.

It's a big 8-seater table in dying need of an eclectic pop of color.
