Love It Want It

You have no idea how badly I want to build a house. Do you ever visit HOUZZ? I do. A lot.

For my powder bath I would do some exposed pipe and a glamorous mirror like the one you see in the pic below. Of course my guests would enjoy an eclectic touch with a pop of color. I'm thinking in the wallpaper. Yes. Wallpaper. It's back ya'll.

I really really want these earrings. They make me laugh and would look uber cute with the chambray ruffled shirt I have on now! Found HERE. Kinda funny...These are also the colors in our master bedroom. I might see if I can find a a better deal.  

Pinch Me

No, not really. Don't pinch me.  Is it me or does it look like George had his cheeks pinched too much as a kid? Hope you're wearing green or I will get you. Yes. I am one of those people.

Color Me Green

Green it is. I'm painting one of our guest beds green. I've been teetering the idea for a bit now and I'm really going to do it. What color green? Grass green. With the spirit of St. Patty's Day, I decided it would be a prime opportunity to share my greenius idea with you all! Can't wait to share a pic with you! I hope to take the plunge this wknd-1st I must get back home! I have been in Charlotte, NC...but I'm headed home now errr trying anyway...It's been a long short week for me. Too much travel in a short time and wishing I had a bit more time here to see the sights or been able to bump into the Bachelor winner in her hometown! So glad Emily won:)

These bad boys have a new home in my closet, but currently they are on my feet. The high today is 54 degrees so I wore them sock-less. Erin fact: Ballet flats and heels tend to give me cold clammy feet in our cold office. I keep 3 types of socks in my desk drawer for clammy emergencies and I always have my fav ankle fluffy socks in my briefcase. A girl needs comfort after a long day of being on her feet. If I have a long drive from a trade show back to my hotel or feeling clammy on the plane-I grab my socks! True stroy.

O Pete

For the love of Pete. Did I mentioned that someone backed into my car in the parking lot over the weekend? Well. They did. I was stopped blaring my horn and it did no good. Luckily, the damage is minor and the other driver's adjuster is surprisingly eager to close the claim. I hope it pans out in my favor and the dude that hit me doesn't change his story. To be cont'd.

Update: Adjuster cut me(Well. Lee since I'm in Pitt...) a check and accepted liability. Woot Woot!

Pant Hall

I bumped into the mall on Sunday to hopefully find a pair of black slacks. I've washed, dry cleaned and worn my old pair out. This wasn't my first time to find a replacement so by now you can imagine that I am in need of a replacement. I have such a hard time finding slacks. Really. I'm picky about the fit and length. Anywayzzzz...I have a lot of work travel ahead of me this month (currently in Pittsburgh) and a lot of trade shows to network. I was seconds away from turning around and reluctantly buying a pair of pants that I didn't love and go have them altered. Lucky for me, I held out and peeked into the Gap first. Now-I am in pant love with TWO A-mazing deals I snatched.

Antique Shop Stop

I have been doing some antique/thrift shopping and man...I really like it. I wish I had unlimited funds so I could have bought this mosaic turquoise head. haha Isn't is beautiful. Sorry you don't have the fully monty shiny effect that I got in the store. (Camera phone pic again.) It was $750 and I hear that is a bargain??? Maybe another day.

I found this fab mirror too. I've been seeing its cousins all over blog world. Like on Young House Love! I didn't buy it either and now I'm thinking about changing my mind. I see myself painting this a funky color. Maybe neon something and putting it in my entryway...maybe.

HIATUS

Sooo...I really have no excise for my recent hiatus from you dear blog world. I feel like a Girl Scout getting prepared for her next adventure or is that Boy Scouts that are always prepared? Anyway. I'm busy working on a big project, but I have random goodies for you all today! One. My sister cousin got a new puppy! Teacup Yorkie. Check Sophie out:

Two. Lee and I like to order Chinese takeout from a yummy place close to our home. Not a fan of seeing a cat on the counter to greet me...

Three. Saw some fabulous trunks on my recent trip to Hobby Lobby. Priced very nicely, I had a hard time walking away. I know I know. Leave me alone. I'm not sure if I have a spot for them. You go buy one!
