curtain project

I mentioned HERE that curtains are on my shopping list to complete THIS guest room's decor after painting the room white LAST WEEKEND. To save some mu la, I am taking the too short curtains and doing something fabulous with them. Last night I finished one panel in 4 hours. I doubt I have time to finish the second panel until Sunday. I'm getting my hair-did tonight and then tomorrow my wknd plans begin. What I'm working with:
